Lymphatic Wisdom: Flow & Vibration Workshop

Lymphatic Wisdom:  Flow & Vibration Workshop with Louise Hamlin-Laird,  E-RYT 200, E-RYT 500, Y.A.C.E.P. & Sam Grodecki RYT 200, Sound Creatrix.  •  The lymphatic system is an important part of our immune system, protecting the body against infection. Its main function is to remove waste & toxins from the body to protect our immune system from pathogens. Lymphs are a clear, watery fluid that moves through the body picking up bacteria and viruses and filtering them out via the lymph nodes.

Join Louise for "Lymphatic Wisdom" in the Fuller Dome, on August 21st, from 2 to 4PM. Registration is $30 dollars in advance and $35 at the door. There are 20 spots available. In this workshop, we invite you to share your wisdom with us, gain more knowledge about the lymphatic system, welcome in a singing bowl meditation to your body channels, practice yoga movements targeted to activate the lymph node filtering system, explore self massage techniques and dry brushing the body. All while being serenaded by gongs,  bells, chimes, and singing bowls.

The workshop will close with the humming of the Heart Gong. During this time, free movement is encouraged - you are welcomed to stand, sway, sit, rest on your back, side, belly, journal, self massage during the humming of the heart gong. This is your time, luxuriate in your very own unique way. Allow this yoga workshop to transform your lymph nodes into a flowing, sparkling stream that cleans and drains the stagnant ponds of your body—strengthening your immune response and revitalizing your whole being.

Please consider dressing in a way that is comfortable for you. If you would like, bring a blanket, wear your fuzzy socks, a fun pen and journal ~ bring any items that will provide joyful comfort during the workshop. The Fuller Dome is located on the SIUE campus just off of Circle Drive, next to Vistor Parking Lot B.
