What is Reflexology?
A reflexology therapist will apply acupressure and massage to the feet within certain zones.
Reflexology can help relieve the symptoms of neuropathy, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, and sciatica. It has also been shown to improve circulation, promote relaxation & detoxification, reduce tension, and improve the body’s ability to heal itself.
During a reflexology appointment, the therapist will ask you questions to determine your present condition. She will then apply pressure to the feet – according to a reflexology foot map. Different spots will have an effect on different internal organs. As a supplementary treatment, or simply as a way to treat yourself, reflexology can help support overall health and improve your quality of life.
