About the event
In this guided meditation class you will rest in stillness as you are gently instructed in bringing your mind and body back into balance. Our focus here is relaxation and nervous system regulation. You will be invited to lie down in a reclined position (on the floor, a recliner chair, or even your bed) with plenty of pillows and blankets so it is extremely gentle on the body.
Whatever your reasons for seeking deep relaxation, this class is perfect for all, no previous yoga experience necessary. It is said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is equal to four hours of restful sleep. The effects of this class are difficult to describe; it will align your body, mind and spirit in a powerful and tangible way.
